Something you should know about me: I don't like when mean people mess with me, but I really don't like when mean people mess with outrageously-nice-to-everyone people.
Once, in high school, I had a serious vendetta with a mean man. I won. Mostly because as "professional" as he was, he still thought that someone who runs a school was a 'Principle' not 'Principal.' & he published that. For the town to see. & I made sure to point it out. Publicly. :)

Seriously. It's one of my biggest pet peeves when mean bullies go after nice people. I'm sorry, sir, that you have a stick lodged in your bum, but please try to be nicer. Just because you're a miserable human being doesn't mean everyone else has to be.
I just don't deal well with bullies. I don't like mean people. I just don't.
& I'm kind of just one of those people who says what I think; like, "Hey, you're being a jackass and I just thought you should just know. Thanks."
With that being said, I saw this quote today and loved it. Sometimes, people are really hard to love. Sometimes, I'm really, really hard to love. But it's not about whether or not I think I like someone; it's about being kind anyway.
"Do not waste time bothering whether you ‘love’ your neighbor; act as if you did. As soon as we do this we find one of the great secrets. When you are behaving as if you loved someone, you will presently come to love him." --C. S. Lewis
I'm trying. I really am.
However, to clarify, me being kind doesn't mean letting someone continue to be a butthead to one of the most genuinely nice people I know. Sorry, sir.
