Thoughts.

Disclaimer: None of these pictures are mine; I found them all on the Internet.

I feel like people think we're nuts. Maybe we are, just a little bit.  Nuts is better than boring; I'll take nuts.  The other day, a professor asked me how we managed to pull off a wedding 1,000+ miles away, over Winter Break.  We just did.  We decided we wanted to be married, we chose the temple, and we tried our hardest to make that our focus.  At the end of it all,  I was happy to be married to my best friend... none of the other details mattered.
Could we have waited to get married? Yes.  We could have spent months planning an elaborate wedding, spent a whole lot more money, time, and effort.  We could have sought out those 'perfect conditions' but I'm certain I wouldn't be any happier than I am now.  Now, we're getting a dog.  People keep telling us to wait until we've finished school, or wait until we own a house, or a million other things we should wait for.
I just don't want to spend my entire life waiting for next steps.  We're in love, and happy, and honestly, I feel like we're living the dream.  We're blessed.

Help me to always have this attitude.  Help me to ask for trials, to stretch myself and grow as a person.
